Traditional Bookbinding Group

This group meets to encourage and develop your skills through working together. Last year we made an Ascona Album together over about four months. Some notes were provided but we worked together to see how to construct the album. You will need to be prepared to take your own notes. We will look for suggestions of fairly simple projects which you can demonstrate and members can work on over a period. Boxes, slipcases and different sewing styles are recent suggestions.

There is no fee but you might need to purchase materials for your project. Please BYO your basic tools and the materials needed for this stage as the shop is unlikely to be open for sales.
