TBG Meeting Report - March

The March 2026 TBG meeting was a lot of fun. We had a great turn out (at least 10, I didn't keep count). All manner of boxes were worked on with most of us starting the Clamshell box from the Hollander book.

A few things of note from the meeting:

- The A3 colour Laser that we obtained from the BCC grant was setup and is now working. Stay tuned for member usage guidelines, pricing etc. But this is a huge benefit to the guild.

- Even though some people hadn't made one of these before I think everyone worked together to get to the same stage of build.

- Big thanks to Bill for organising supper and putting in a huge hand in cleaning up etc even though he wasn't able to make a box last night. Thank you so much Bill.

Also thanks to Sarah and Paul and everyone who helped take things down to the ute for the Grafton course. It was a huge task and I really appreciate it.

We are looking forward to the April meeting for TBG. I hope my roster allows me to make it! If you weren't able to come along feel free to download the spreadsheet and catch up (on the TBG facebook group). We are up to having all the card cut out and the small and large trays assembled.

I would like to organise an exhibition later in the year with TBG members. Have a think about how we are able to do this. If it doesn't happen this year that's ok but I think it's something that would be great to do!
